Music is Therapy
Lifelong friends, Corey Hodgetts and Paul Miles, found themselves going through separations at the same time, on opposite sides of Australia. Turning to music as therapy, the duo created Star Lobby in 2023 as a way through the dark together.
Raw, real and reflective, a bunch of eclectic songs flowed out of them with passion, stemming from decades of loving hard rock, metal, and industrial. Through the heaviness of their songs and situation, runs a common vein of pop, which shines as a melodic beacon of hope.
With Miles now remarried and relocated in Los Angeles, the distance between the Star Lobby members has again increased, as has their ability to still create songs that stick.
Coming in 2026, “Music is Therapy” is Star Lobby’s first full release and a testament to the life altering power of human-created songs.
